On this night newly accepted members and all other kuya’s
who haven’t taken the oath yet are suppose to attend on this event and take our
oaths, sadly, the expenses needed are too heavy for us juniors.
So instead of participating, we, particularly the females,
turned out to be the ushers. It didn’t really matter, I only wanted to meet and
greet our seniors. This night was the first social gathering I’ve attended to
and the experience was just nice, to shake their hands, congratulate them and
call them KUYA and they call us back as Ate and Kuya, which in fact is quite
weird, but that’s just the way it is.
Apart from doing our jobs, we also enjoyed taking pictures
and laugh out loud for the magic tricks made by our Kuya khert. [note:
it wasn’t really magic as it is, it was purely a trick! Haha]
